Mixed Green Salad with Pomegranate and Apple
A crisp, refreshing salad with sweet-tart pops of pomegranate, crunchy apple slices, and a silky-sweet finish of Messino Pomegranate Balsamic Cream. Bright, balanced, and endlessly versatile.
Ingredients:
5 cups mixed greens (arugula, baby spinach, and romaine)
1 crisp apple (Gala or Honeycrisp), thinly sliced
1/3 cup pomegranate seeds
1/4 cup crumbled feta or goat cheese
1/4 cup toasted walnuts or pecans
1 green onion, thinly sliced (optional)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the dressing
3 tbsp Revoo extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp Messino Pomegranate Balsamic Cream (plus more for drizzling)
1 tsp honey or maple syrup
1 tsp Dijon mustard
Pinch of sea salt
Instructions:
Prepare the dressing
In a small bowl or jar, whisk together Revoo olive oil, Messino pomegranate balsamic cream, honey, mustard, and salt until smooth and emulsified.
Assemble the salad
In a large bowl, combine mixed greens, apple slices, pomegranate seeds, walnuts, green onion, and cheese. Gently toss.
Dress and serve
Add dressing and toss again to coat. Transfer to a serving platter or individual plates.
Finish with flair
Drizzle with an extra swirl of Messino Pomegranate Balsamic Cream just before serving.
