Caprese Salad with Messino Pomegranate Balsamic Cream
A classic Italian salad with a Greek-inspired upgrade, this version adds a drizzle of Messino Pomegranate Balsamic Cream for a tangy-sweet finish that pairs beautifully with creamy mozzarella and ripe tomatoes.
Ingredients:
3–4 ripe tomatoes, sliced into rounds
200g fresh mozzarella or burrata, sliced
Fresh basil leaves
Sea salt and cracked black pepper, to taste
1 tbsp Revoo extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp Messino Pomegranate Balsamic Cream
Instructions:
Assemble the salad
Arrange tomato and mozzarella slices on a serving platter, alternating and overlapping them. Tuck fresh basil leaves in between.
Season and dress
Sprinkle with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper. Drizzle with Revoo extra virgin olive oil, followed by Messino Pomegranate Balsamic Cream.
Serve immediately
Serve as a starter, side dish, or part of a mezze spread. For extra texture, top with toasted pine nuts or a few olives.
